Environmental and Emissions Monitoring

ENSR provides a comprehensive range of environmental and emissions monitoring services to comply with the relevant Australian State and Federal Regulations covering air, water and noise emissions. ENSR prides itself on being able to provide a full service from sampling program design, to field sample collection and testing, to data processing and analysis, and technical advice. These services are delivered by appropriately qualified and experienced technicians and scientists using a range of in-house and external sampling equipment.

ENSR’s approach is to ensure at the outset that we design a cost-effective, technically defensible monitoring program that meets the project monitoring objectives and the requirements of the regulations and clients, while adapting to the specific constraints of the site. Our staff draw on their extensive experience in what works in practice, their knowledge of the regulations, and their rapport with the regulators to negotiate a solution that best fits these needs.

We know the importance of obtaining quality data and implementing rigorous quality assurance programs in our field and analytical work which includes using suitably qualified and experienced technicians and scientists for this work.  They are trained to trouble-shoot as they go to avoid costly re-mobilisation, while maintaining data integrity.

Our data collection services are backed up by data interpretation, modelling, risk assessment and strategic advice services to limit potential statutory compliance liabilities. These value adding services are provided by our experienced senior scientific and engineering staff including Members and Fellows of the Institution of Engineers (Australia) with up to 30 years experience. They have earned themselves an excellent reputation with regulatory authorities for technically sound but pragmatic monitoring solutions. They are also available to help with advice on improvements to process streams to reduce emissions.
