Ecology and Biodiversity

For the past 15 years, ENSR has been providing clients with a diverse range of biological and ecological services. Our aim is to assist clients with realising their goals by providing technically defensible, fit-for-purpose and cost-effective outcomes, that also promote ecologically sustainable development. Our specialists can advise you and assist with compliance with the stringent requirements of the State and Territory species protection legislation as well as requirements under the Commonwealth Environmental Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act.

We interface our services in biology and ecology with other environmental studies and through use of tools such as spatial data (GIS) and information management for analysis and for visualisation purposes. These tools are an effective means of conveying key messages to stakeholders, identifying significant relationships between related environmental factors and delivering outcomes based solutions to our clients.

In areas of ecological and biodiversity significance where development potential is high, ENSR can assist with strategic solutions, such as green offsets, to achieve an ecologically sustainable outcome that allows development to proceed while at the same time protecting biodiversity values.
